Amidst all of the weird accusations and bs coming from ACR. I just wanted to clarify.
Why Durandal thinks I am helping him is beyond me. I am not helping him in anyway. I have not been contacted by any law enforcement, nor have I talked with Durandal since before Defcon. I have various communication with Rat, and I am on the side of SoldierX. BlackOrchid and I have no involvement in the events of Durandals late misfortune.
I am merely stating that I have no affiliation with Durandal, and if anyone wants to communicate with me directly, they need only to ask.
So, today I discovered Nexuiz. Nexuiz is an open-source first person shooter, based on the Quake3 engine. Well, someone a few days ago mentioned it in irc (maybe rpag?). I installed it today and was really impressed by it.
We're going to set up a dedicated Nexuiz server. I would like to hold a Hack3r-sponsored game the weekend before Defcon (the 1st of August) to get us all in the mood for Defcon. What does everyone think?
Just updating everyone on the current involvements.
Hack3r.com now has a store for those that wish to buy merchandise. A percentage of this goes to Hack3r so that we can pay for services, hosting, and hardware upgrades for the Roothack suite.
The store can be seen at http://hack3r.spreadshirt.com
Lattera is moving forward with the scorebot and It is apparently on schedule.
The new wargames are under full development by mantis and s0kket and are moving forward.
The previous Roothack winners will be announced tonight.

For all you Mac, Linux, Windows, and BSD gamers out there I have found a truly epic game!
It is called "Wormux", it is basically a clone of the famous Windows game "Worms". It supports AI, single, and network play. If you are on Linux or BSD consult your package manager or the ports, it'll be there. If you are on Windows/Mac go to wormux.org, download, and then install it.. After you've done that join irc.hack3r.com and we can get a network game going! This is the best game i've found for Linux/BSD so far(better then Nexuiz if you ask me!), and it is a lot of fun.
I need a reliable password cracker that doesn't take a password to install. because my comp was messed up by crack heads while i was on vacation and they stole my spare vehicle pieces of sh@#. so I'm reaching out so hopefully someone who's had problems with bums and crackheads messing up there garden villa while they were enjoying the white sand beaches and turqoise water. wet tig ol bittys and the hot sun.
Since I stumbled upon PHP5’s SPL (Standard PHP Library) I’ve been a fan and supporter of its features, mainly ArrayObject, ArrayIterator and DirectoryIterator. I knew they were not as efficient as the standard “old school” way, but I thought that the standardized interface would outweigh the small (or so I thought) performance hit they would take. Then one day at an interview I had they questioned my use of these and in turn, made myself really question the use of them. So I went home and did some micro benchmarking to prove to myself and anybody else that it was not that much slower.
Well, we launched the wargames last night.
Got off to a weird start because of a bottleneck I caused. THe issue has been Fixed.
I want to wish all of the teams good luck and hope that they all have a good time.
The grace period ends tonight at 9 o clock Pacific time.
Ill be streaming live on a shoutcast that can be reached at http://64.79.197.168:7000/ come 7 or 8 o clock.
Come in #roothack on irc.hack3r.com and say hey, see how everything is going.
Tune in for me making a fool of myself :)
