Seeing as how we have so many talented minds in our small community ;-), I think that we should start voicing idea's about how to further develop the site, projects, our reach in the community, etc. I know we always talk about these things in IRC, but I feel it might be more productive to get them written down and debated upon in one location, hence my thread.
IMHO, I see how talented many of you are in developing programs, writing scripts, networking, security, and I think that we have unlimited possibilities to expand on these abilities. Once the monthly wargames get underway I think that we'll definitely draw in more people to the community, thats just a given with proper marketing. However to keep drawing in experienced / beginner (hackers, programmers, security gurus, whatever), we need to start projects, writing our own tutorials, etc.
I know that Ocyrus has plenty of plans going on, prob some that I don't know about, but its unfair to expect him to get everything done. Lattera, is currently working on a p2p project right now, which is great, and I'm sure there are more of you out there working on your own projects. I think if we start working on them, or developing new ideas, and working together as a team we can bring H3C to new heights.
Obviously this will take time, and commitment. So what are your ideas? Post them here, or somewhere in the forum. Nothing is not worth at least thinking about, and if we can start pooling them together we're bound to get going on something great. Just my 10cents
